Special achievements of the Department:
GESTOCON – CME conducted twice at GTVMCH, OG department in 2018 and 2019.
In 2019- Blood bank training for Medical officers of Tiruvannamalai district was conducted in conjunction with blood bank of GTVMCH and OG department.
In May 2022 – CME conducted by Tiruvannamalai OG Society in conjunction with GTVMCH.
On 11th July 2022 – World population day celebrated at GTVMCH
